      That day was coming sooner or later.  And by "that day" I mean a 
transition period.  Whenever a program goes through a transition there 
are rough points.  NU football isn't too far from where it was with 
Solich.  It isn't what it was in the mid 90's but then it hasn't been 
that for 8-10 years.  This year will tell a lot.  If the recruiting 
Callahan and staff have done means anything NU should be very good.
