There is a third geographical are in Arkansas which I happen to live in.
I live in Marion, Arkansas, which is just outside of Memphis in the
Mississippi delta. The biggest hills are highway overpasses. It is has
been flattened by flood over the years. The people are, in general,
very conservative.

I really miss the days when Nolan Richardson was at Arkansas.

Those two areas are different as day and night. Northern Arkansas is
beautiful around Eureka Springs and in that area. Fayetteville is right
in that area. It is mostly Ozarks and the like. I do like Northern
Arkansas. Southern Arkansas is something you can have. It is hot,
humid, in some cases very backward, and shades of the old South still
exists and that is all I'll say about that.
