[Husker] What's up with Chris Brooks?

I would expect Chris Brooks to redshirt this season,
though Callahan has stated that he is not planning to
redshirt anybody.  If they don't play all season, then
they'll be a redshirt.  He is suiting up for games.

I sense from the rumor mill and rumblings that Brooks
has struggled with the jump in talent level and the
work effort required at this level.  His talent level
allowed him to dominate at the high school level, but
as of yet, he hasn't been able to elevate his game to
the next level.  Last year, it was reported that he
had never lifted weights until he arrived in Lincoln,
and so the transition to college ball is going slowly
for him.
