I thought the dipping sauce for the onions at Tastee was made from something 
like Lipton Onion Soup mix and sour cream.  Most places that do onion rings 
or onion flowere serve it with horseradish sauce, I'd much rather have cheese 
or Heinz ketchup on them, or even ranch dressing (like at Red Robin.)

Assuming I understand how Tastees are made, they boil the ground beef,
so they're probably fairly low in fat.
