I used to have a client near there, I had many a lunch from them. 
It seems like they've been around FOREVER.

Living in SW Lincoln (Old Cheney & 27th area), I haven't been there in
a long time, probably a year or more.  I agree that their onion chips and 
dip are quite good.  (Made-Rite sandwiches are similar to Tastees, but 
not as good.)

White Castle is definitely an acquired taste.  I used to work for a company 
in Chicago that had their offices down the block away from one, we'd go
there for 'conferences'.  

Whenever I'm back in the Chicago area, though, I always try to find some 
place serving Italian Beef sandwiches, another taste I acquired while 
working for that company.  I haven't been to a Husker game for a couple 
of years, there used to be a stand selling them outside Memorial Stadium 
on the west side, I've been tempted to drive down there about halftime, 
just to get a decent sandwich.  (They understand what 'wet' means.)
