[Husker] Weather person?

I think it's been many years since we've even needed
rain gear. I found out the hard way in the 2nd
quarter of the Nicholls State game that the
waterproofing on my rain jacket had worn off.
Thinking back, it may have been as long as 10 years
since we've had a home rainy game. Needless to say,
I'm breaking out the Scotchguard tonight...

I remember getting poured on at Baylor (away) in 1996
and I think it might have rained at the Colorado game
as well.

In 1998, I remember watching the Chiefs game the day
after the Nebraska-Oklahoma State game was played at
Arrowhead. A cloudburst started just before kickoff,
and they had to suspend the game in the 2nd quarter
due to lightning. It rained so hard that the field
was completely undercover for a while, and when play
finally resumed, the "Chiefs" logos had been washed
off the field leaving "Huskers" in one end zone. We
all were glad that the rain had held off 24 hours that
day!
