I just get a kick out of Corso's prediction. It gives me a good laugh
sometimes.
Doesn't seem anyone outside of Huskers fans give us a chance. Even I don't
expect us to win. I just want us to play error less ball and show more
improvement from week to week as we have the first two weeks.
But you never know. As we have seen in every sport, anyone can win on any
given day. Maybe today is that day. Let's hope so!
Go Huskers!

There is a show on local ESPN radio (Lincoln, NE) at 5:00 PM M-F called
"The Average Joe's Sports Show." They debate different subjects and invite
callers. One day this week the subject was "is there such a thing as a moral
victory?" The main thrust was they were debating is if Nebraska would lose
tonight but play well with the final score being close would it be a "moral
victory?" Of course some said a loss is a loss period. Some said one can
take something from a well placed loss and apply from it things to build the
season on. I personally am in the latter group. I believe there are things you
can glean from a well played loss. It is still a loss on the record but it
can still yield building blocks in my opinion.
Do I want NU to win tonight? Absolutely! Do I think they will win?
No. Ideally NU wins but realistically if NU can keep it close, especially
playing out there, it will gain long lost respect and give the players
confidence they can play with the big dogs.

I haven't learned anything when I was the one doing the talking.
