Gutless and coward are the two words I use to describe the coaches
tonight. No blitzes, no passes, no nothing. The team didn't suck,
the coaches did.

How tragic. They were probably the better team, but that doesn't
give the coaches the right to give up before we play.

"Gutless" & "coward" are pretty strong words. No doubt though, we witnessed some of the same mentality that plagued the previous regime. Seeing it again is frustrating. Still this game is a game which had the potential to get out of hand.

Was playing not to lose- badly- the best strategy? Remember the OU game in 2004? The problem is you get the reputation for curling up in the fetal position eventually and that damages the program.

Will winning the mediocre- take that back and substitute 'dismal' for 'mediocre'- Big XII North really be an accomplishment? Certainly not if you factor in losses to the better BIg XII teams from the South? I think what tonite said is Nebraska is better than the team that got thrashe by Mizzou and Kansas but the Huskers are a long, long way from teh Huskers of old.
