[Husker] eerie echos of the past

I thought that play call was awful for that spot on the field- why on earth did Air Force not run an option that close to the end zone (which seemed to work pretty well all day long and is VERY difficult to defend near the goal line)?

Bizarre.

I watched the AF vs. TN game and I think the AF coach
figured his best shot was to win it right then and
there.

AF ran up and down the field all day on TN. and had
something like 430 total yards.  I think they thought
they could get the 2.5 yards needed for a win.  TN
just guessed right and a DT made a great play to stop
them.
