Hello Husker Fans,

BCr> Air Force was the underdog.  Perhaps they felt the odds of them making a 2 point conversion were better than beating Tennessee in OT.  Akron made a similar decision down by 3 at the one yard
BCr> line with 5 seconds left at NC State.  They could've kicked a FG to send it to OT, but instead went for upset win and made it.  I'm sure they felt they had a better chance on a single play than
BCr> stopping NC State in OT AND scoring themselves from the 25.

The old saying here is, "Go for the tie at home and the win on the
road."

It makes sense to me since momentum is easier to get at home.
