You are right that comments on Joe Dailey's current performance at UNC
doesn't serve any useful purpose on this list, but neither do a lot of
topics discussed on here, including the 100's of emails debating the
topic I reference in jest above. If comments about former players or
coaches are out of bounds, what would we do without all of the Turner
Gill, Bo Pelini, Frank Solich, etc. etc. etc. updates? Since no one
really breaks down or discusses the ACTUAL GAMES anymore there wouldn't
be any list traffic. I mean the biggest game since the Rose Bowl is 5
days away and all of the list traffic centers around the fact that we
are an 18.5 point road dog? Oh how times have changed!

And for the record Joe did look horrible! It was painful to watch that
game - not that his replacement did any better. Even the announcer's
mocked him for throwing it to "wide open linebackers" and even the most
ardent Solich/Dailey/[insert name here] supporter who saw the VT-UNC
game has to admit it was like a flashback to most of his time throwing
the ball in Lincoln.
