I did make sure to look at the SW corner to see if the opposing team was
clapped off the field and they were. It seems to me that in the past
the folks in the NW corner stayed to clap and there were some definate
spaces down in the SW corner - hey they have new responsibilities to
deal with just like the team - The fans got that first game jitter out
of the way, will practice hard all week and come back much improved for
N State!
One nice thing about the opposing team exiting in that corner is that
their fans are concentrated down there.
It took me about a quarter to stop looking at the places where the old
screens were for the replays. I have to look over my shoulder to see
the big screen so it is not that convenient. It also took me awhile to
get used to the new arrangement of info like yards to go, down etc.
Basically like getting used to a new remote - the buttons are never in
the same place as the old one.
Security seemed basically the same as last year - the gate I entered did
not have the metal detector at it this week.
Great game, rain stopped about a half hour before kick off and when the
sun came out I was glad I did the layering thing - I went from 3 layers
to 1 during the course of the game - I seem to remember worrying about
heat stroke at some openers but that is Nebraska for you.
Had a lot of fun - looking forward to next week
