[Husker] Where Did Everyone Go?

Hello Again:

A question was raised as to where everyone went, since the list has been quiet.

Several factors have combined to quiet this list down. Among them: 

1.  Bitter arguing that took place a few years ago which drove people away, some of those who left were very knowledgeable students of the game.

2.  The change in the coaching situation at NU and how it was handled. There's still an underlying resentment about that.

3.  Three season's of below average to average football. People have found other things to do besides eat, drink and sleep Nebraska football. 

That's it, and to tell the truth I don't feel the excitement that I once did as the season approached. I'm going to be at the game today because I promised to take my 74 year old mother, otherwise I might have stayed home too and watched it on TV.


BTW, weather-wise the NWS is calling for rain showers during the game today in Lincoln with a high of 68 degrees.
