[Husker] These new clock rules are absolutely dreadful

This is probably the most disgusting rule change the NCAA has ever
implemented. For those of you who haven't heard:

"The first change means the clock starts on a kickoff when the ball is
kicked, not when the receiving team touches it. The other change means
the clock starts on a change of possession when the ball is marked ready
for play, not when it is snapped."

This has the potential to absolutely ruin the end of close football
games. There's about 30-35 extra seconds that a team with the lead can
just sit on the ball. Not to mention you'll probably see teams that are
trailing sprint on to the field to spike the ball on *first* down after
a kickoff late in the game. I imagine this crap will chop off about 5-7
minutes worth of actual play.

What's really frustrating is that the NCAA is too dumb to realize the
reasons why the length of games have increased over the past few years:

1.) There's a ridiculous amount of media timeouts, even for games that
aren't on TV
2.) There's so much more passing than there was 15 or 20 years ago

I really like having actual game time decreased as ticket prices and gas
continue to go up. Whoever voted on these rules needs to be removed
from such a position of power.
