Yeah, I'll take the 2006 Huskers (winning the North, 8-4)
over the shame of 2001 (62-36, 37-14).  Number 2 in the
country, yeah right.

I will be thrilled to win the North this year, but 
that's not the high-water mark.  This team is rebuilding, 
developing.  I expect even greater things when this year's 
freshman/sophomores are juniors/seniors.

The problem with your 2001 team is that it was heading
in the wrong direction (toward mediocrity).

I was embarassed by the 2001 result.  We were a national joke.
