[Husker] We really need some perspective here

I'm not going to get into a Callahan versus Solich battle here, but I will say this- most folks don't give other teams cresit for improving when looking at Nebraska's results. Yes I know we should expect improvement, but can't other teams get better too? I would say Missouri is much improved, as well as Ok State, A&M, the list goes on and on. In fact, the only teams I see that look like they have not improved much are Colorado, Kansas, and K State. Perhaps Texas Tech too, and Texas couldn't really get any better than last year when they won it all.

This goes both ways, teams that play Nebraska can also be better this year too, it does not necessarily mean that Nebraska didn't get better just because they may not beat them. Getting better doesn't always equate to wins and losses, but the AD has put himself in an awkward position by assuming it does.

It's also "very possible" that Nebraska will go to a
BCS bowl and finish 11-3. I suggest you wait a few
more days before writing off this team. If we beat
Missouri, we win the the North and have a chance for
a BCS bowl.

Really? Our 2006 rushing is hugely better than in 2005.
In 2005 we struggled against cupcake opponents. In 2006
we blew them out. In 2005 we lost two straight B12N road
games. In 2006 we won two straight B12N road games.

There has been significant improvement between 2005 and
2006. Anybody who can't see that isn't paying attention.

Yeah, BC lost the B12 North in 2004 (with FS's players).
Just like FS won the B12 North in 1999 (with TO's players).

I judge FS by what happened in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003.
I will judge BC by what happens in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.

And, if Nebraska wins on Saturday, it will win the North
(which FS was unable to do in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003).

Do you want the Huskers to beat Missouri on Saturday?
Or would you rather have them lose, so you can moan about BC?

Cheers,
Steven
