[Husker] One of our own Lee Wilmart terribly injured

Dear Friends,

I got this note this morning regarding one of our regular posters Lee
Wilmart who needs your prayers and I hope it is o.k. that I post this from
his son. Many of you do not know that he is a train lover and has been very
influential in saving the National Historic RR Assoc. and in fact is the
President of that group in NE. He evidently was driving one of the trains
for a dinner event and this happened. Below is the note from his son.

This is Jeff, Lee's oldest son. Lee has had a terrible accident at the
railroad he so dearly loved. It seems a brake handle somehow hit him in the
head and he has been life flighted to Neb university hospital in Omaha with
sever head trauma. He is in a drug induced coma until the swelling goes
down. He also aspirated into his lungs and has pneumonia and is very
unstable at this time. My sister and I will try to keep everyone updated as

I will try to keep you abreast of any information as I get it. He is a dear
friend and he was so thrilled when I told him of this discussion list about
our beloved Huskers.
