And if we finish 6-6 and somehow win the north and then lose the championship game are we? I dont think we can finish 6-6 and win the North because of the tie breaker with MU but would we be bowl eligable? I was thinking you had to have 6 wins and a better then 500 record or did that change now? 

There is no 2006 Division 1-A Postseason Handbook on the NCAA website, the 
2005 one had the requirement of 6 wins against 1-A schools plus more wins 
than losses.

The NCAA site lists 31 bowl games this year.  Methinks the NCAA is going 
to have to permit 6-6 teams to be bowl eligible or they may not have enough 
teams to populate all those bowls.
