[Husker] Bad Calls, no defense

I honestly dont remember either. I didn't think that unsportsmenlike was a personal foul but the rules change so much that I am not sure anymore. The thing that hurt the most there is that we had a pass interference and instead of getting 15 yards and a first down we end up staying put and getting a first down. Its pretty much irrelavent to the outcome of the game. Purify does need to learn to control his temper though.

You are technically correct. But, yesterday I wasn't really paying
any attention to what the Referee signaled. I was more intent on
watching what happened on the replays and listening to the announcers.
Despite what the referee signaled the announcers reported it as
taunting. After watching the replays I thought that was reasonable as
nothing physical happened that was unnecessary and it appeared very
possibly something was said. The official also announces verbally what
the call is and to be honest I can't remember what he said OR signaled.
When responding yesterday I wasn't even thinking about the difference in
the calls. I only was taking into consideration that taunting is a
penalty. IF indeed the penalty was for something physical then they
missed the call. I don't see how they could have gotten something
physical out of that but then I don't see how Crouch's helmet turned
around on his head years ago could be missed either. ;-) :-)
