[Husker] Gordon Wins Another Award

Good news for the KC Royals Tuesday as first-round draft pick Alex 
Gordon has been named the "Topps Minor League Player of the Year".

Gordon spent last season with the Wichita Wranglers in class double-A. 
He hit .325 with 39 doubles, 29 homers, and 101 R-B-I's.

The 22 year old Lincoln, Nebraska native is the second Wrangler's player 
to win the award. The other is current New York Yankee Johnny Damon.
