[Husker] I just don't get it..

It seemed pretty simple to me.

Consistently poor special teams play - short kicks with poor coverage, short 
punts. Not much of a return threat - although we did catch punts this week. 
This has hurt us all year.

Very poor defensive performance. A couple of turnovers helped us out or it 
could have been even uglier. We were lost in the second half. Reminded me of 
the Mizzou game last year. The quick score before half killed us.

Great 1st quarter offensively and then Jackson disappears.

OSU playing a breakout game, dominating both lines after the half.

I guess I had foolishly thought we were beyond performances like this.

Let's start from square one.  I stated before the season that we would be 
10-2  and lose to A&M  and USC.  After sitting through last week's game and 
listening to the comments this week.  I stated yesterday that this one 
worried me.  We should have beat Texas...and steam rolled into Stillwater 
and smoked this team. This really dissapointed me immensely.  I just don't 
get it.   The Mizzou game now stands as a "must-must win"   Can we push this 
team into a corner any more???

Now the season looks like another rmediocre one, when 10 days ago we were on 
the verge of a special season.  Sad...just sad...  I don't know who to 
blame...Calahan?  Norvell?  the kids???

Myself?  I varied from the usual game day routine...

Answers would be helpful.
