[Husker] Drained of emotion

The 'Huskers were, that is. I'm sure the List will be awash in emotion
tonight ... 8^) I think the Texas loss, and the manner in which we lost it,
has to figure prominently in the analysis of what happened today

Too bad that NU was unable to keep up the momentum after the 16-0 lead. I
didn't pay for the PPV (and I'm glad about it now), but from the radio call,
it sounded like OSU never gave up and stayed with their game plan even after
the two turnovers early. NU tried to come up with a response, but we just
didn't have an answer.

Topic for discussion: It sounded like the 'Huskers just didn't take a lot of
risks today, and got burned both ways, but most especially on defense. I
was really hoping that NU would try something different -- stunts, blitzes,
something other than the base defense -- to stop OSU's momentum. Didn't
happen.

Oregon State turns USC away on the 2-point conversion with :07 left ...
guess it's a darn good day to be wearing orange and use the initials "OSU"
... 8^)
