Heck, half the enjoyment of athletics is second-guessing decisions. I think
we all realize that coaches are going to make bad choices or wrong decisions
(Errare Humanum Est and all that). Devaney made mistakes, TO made some huge
mistakes. The big question is do they learn from their mistakes. We have
seen staffs that make the same mistake over and over again, and we have seen
staffs that adjusted. It seems like this staff spends a great deal of time
analyzing what they can do better. Hence last year's emphasis on improved
pass rush. It will be interesting to see whether or not changes come from
what the coaches see this season.
