No one, least of all myself, has suggested that the coaches' decision 
should not be questioned. The coaches are big boys with thick skins 
who are getting paid quite well for their efforts and are therefore 
open to questions.

Even so, there's a world of difference betweeen saying, "I wish I 
understood why Smith called that particular play at that time" or "I 
question Smith's judgment in that particular set of circumstances" 
and the usual bulletin-board blather, "Smith's a freakin' idiot" or 
"Smith doesn't know enough to pound sand in a rat-hole" or "I could 
see it, why couldn't Smith?"
