Never said that the previous head coaches were sacred cows either. This is
not an attempt to rehash the Solich vs Callahan debate. But based on your
and Steve's logic, then NOBODY has the right to say anything that comes
close to criticism on this list unless they are a former player or coach.
(Tom, speak up!).
I do not believe my commentary on the timeouts at the end of the game was
unwarranted. I have a right to express my opinion like everyone else.

Yes Sir, but neither was Solich, Osborne, or Devaney people that
could not be questioned. But questioning reserves some rights. Before
anyone questions they have to realize no one, no one, knows more than
the Head Coach. Fans only see the games. That means they see the team
11-12 times a year plus the spring game if attended. Coaches literally
live with the players. They go to practice with them, eat with them,
diagram plays with them, and teach them from beginning to end. There is
no possible way some person sitting in section 19, row 3, and seat 2 or
someone watching on TV and just sees the games can come anywhere close
to the knowledge the Head Coach has. Discussion is one thing.
Unwarranted criticism is another.
