Could Nebraska have used a 'free kick' instead of a field goal or the Hail Mary? If so, and if they made it, is a free kick worth 2 or 3 points?
The other question is does any team have 'Hail Mary' play to bunches up three wide-outs in a group, then send a lone receive to another part of the end zone? With the distance the pass has to travel it would be hard to fake out the defense. On the other hand, with as much time as a quarterback usually has a couple of pump fakes may fool some of the defenders.
That's it for me on the Texas game. Now it is one to Oklahoma State. It will be interesting to see how the team bounces back. One Lister stated that the team has taken the UT loss worse than the USC loss.
With Missouri on the horizon I hope that team is ready. Oklahoma State has played Nebraska tough on the road in the past. At least this weeks game is not on Thursday night at Arrrowhead Stadium!
Go Big Red!
