[Husker] Field Goal?

Just as a win is a win...a loss is a loss. I have a very deep hatred for Texas. It almost makes my stomach churn. I can't stand to lose to these guys. We have to beat these guys on the field to beat them in the livingroom's of these recruits. We had 10 recruits in Lincoln watching. 2 of them were from Garland Texas. I want to be on the same talent level of a Texas, Notre Dame, and USC. I want to BEAT TEXAS. Period.

Let's look at the big picture. We took the defending
national champions to the wire. That's something the
Huskers haven't done for 5 years.

Let's not go there. The whole Solich situation has
been hashed and rehashed to death. Whether it was for
the best or not, Frank Solich is now at Ohio, where
today he defeated Turner Gill's Buffalo Bulls 42-7.
Ohio needs 1 more win to become bowl eligible, and
this week will play Kent State. Winner of that game
has the edge for the MAC East championship.

But that's another topic entirely. It's been a long 5
years where the Huskers have lost to teams that they
had no business losing to. We've knashed our teeth
  over the reasons why.

Now we're complaining about losing to the teams that
played for last year's national title. That's
  progress in my mind. :-)
