     That, is the big question.  While I believe Callahan has things headed 
in the right direction we are not a top ten team yet.  The frustrating thing 
for me is to talk to NU fans who were convinced before the game we would 
beat USC (at USC mind you) and also we would beat Texas.  I think some of 
that is wishful thinking and wanting us to be the team of the 90's.  I think 
I posted this before but the highest rated team we have beaten this year is 
K-State which is now rated 63rd.  Those kinds of things aren't enough for me 
to believe we could have beaten Texas.  Because of that and because of what 
happened my hat is off to Callahan and staff.  These kids didn't quit.  I 
believe fans should support the team but we also need to be realistic about 
where we are.  Even in a loss this to me was an encouraging day.
