[Husker] Time Management

Totally agree: we have come a long ways. We could not have played Texas to
this point 2 years ago; not even close.

This was an aspect of the game that was not a bad bounce or a miscue by a
player on the field, but rather one that should have been more of a
knee-jerk reaction by Callahan. I didn't see any other reasonable way to
handle it. Preserve time on the clock just in case they do hit that field
goal. If they miss it, you didn't need them anyway. If they hit it (like
they did) you will need time on the clock to get it down to the 35 or so.

Callahan and the Huskers DO get my kudos, for sure. This shouldn't have
been this close.

I think Bill Callahan and his staff deserve kudos for this one. To
play Texas to two points in a game NU arguably should have won is
tremendous. I could have easily seen a Texas win before the game by 17-24
points or possibly more. NU has come a long ways in three years. Just so
now they don't shoot themselves in the foot along the rest of the way. No
coach does everything everyone will agree with. Not even TO did that. But,

it sure seems Callahan is going in the right direction.

I never learned anything when I was the one doing the talking.
