I disagree that a game in KC wouldn't be this close.
 
Texas teams don't typically improve much week to week---they are  just that 
good.
Most of their players don't improve much year to year.
 
The coaches schemes have improved over the years to match the awesome  talent 
that they have year after year.
 
Nebraska's offense typically gets better in the WCO offense weekly.
AND our young players do show improvement.
