[Husker] not bad

I said after the game that we won the battle but the "war" is undecided right now.
Bad Oline, no running game, poor field position, limited experience . . . and Freeman still looks like a decent QB. What happens when those problems are solved?
Two weeks ago, I felt Prince was going to destroy the team rather than rebuild it, but now I feel the opposite. Sometimes you need to take extreme measures to change the complexion of a team and Prince was certainly taking extreme measures. Their rebound in the face of adversity suggests he might be doing things right. They lost to us, but they weren't embarrassed and almost looked as good against us as we did against USC. (No splitting hairs here, both were 18 point losses).
I think next year in Lincoln with Keller at the helm, we will be OK, but the next two years are more of a crapshoot vs KSU.

I was impressed with young Mr. Freeman. Put a good O-line in front of
him and he will be a force. I suspect we will get awfully tired of him
before he's through. And he would have looked so good in red. Pity.
