I don't disagree with a single thing in your post, you have it dead on. The
coaching changes are brutal. It all makes me appreciate how fortunate we
were when the Bobfather blessed Husker Nation with Tom and knew that he
was good and he was. We were not near as fortunate when TO passed the torch
to Ffank. A great guy but just not a head coach (though firing himself as
OC was his best move and it would have been interesting to see where that
went.) I was in favor of replacing Frank. And I am dismayed that we made
such a poor hire ...for just the reasons you mention. It is awful to have
to replace the head coach.
