Aha! That's the problem! Putting the phrase "I think" in there.
I've got about 16 years of experience writing in the computer industry,
amongst other areas. When people pay for your expertise, "I think" is not
allowed. Either you know, or you don't. That's the way it works. So...
when I read that in other people's writing, it's as if I don't see it, or
I don't make the distinction between putting "I know" in there or not.
I don't have a problem with having strong opinions. I have them. You can
have them too. Everyone can. Why are you surprised if people attack them?
BTW.... I usually take a 'personal attack' on me as you saying something
to the effect of "and you're the dumbest #$#*$)(* alive, can't even tie
your shoes without assistance you spineless turd." I don't consider
attacking an opinion an attack on the person. Reason - opinions are easily
replaced. :)
Your opinion of Callahan as "not a good football coach" is shared by many.
Why?
