Thanks for this post Skylar. The responses that I got attacking me as a
person that wishes to see the Huskers fail were numerous and alarming.
Clearly it must have been a poorly written original post and I'll have to be
more careful. I'll put my devotion to Nebraska football next to
anyone's..including anyone on this list. But for that many people to attack
me personally there must have been something wrong. Having said that, I do
not think Bill Callahan is a good football coach. I do not think he is a
particularly good guy. He is not the kind of person or leader that I look
up to as the coach of the team I love way too much. I do not think he will
be successful as the coach of the Cornhuskers unless successful means being
a B- team. And I think that we will not be the coach at the start of the
2009 season. And I hope not. All of these things are my opinion, shown my
use of the term "I think". I'm a fan, a good one, and I am allowed to have
these opinions, I have earned them. But to say that because of them I wish
they all come true and that I want the team to lose because of them is way
out of line.
