Haven't heard about the extent of the injury -- could tell he was pretty
upset when it happened, leading me to think it could be serious.  

I will say, being at the game, that the classless reaction to the injury
totally turned me off from Iowa State (from which I graduated).  Fans
yelling at him to get off the field, about the free timeout, about
bringing in the meat wagon...well, those combined with booing the Husker
band and hearing more "f" words than anyone should ever have to, really
made me proud to be an alum of ISU.  My wife and I actually considered
prior to the game the prospect of season tickets next year, even
thinking that it would be fun to take our son, who will be four.  That's
not going to happen.  I've been to many games in Lincoln, and sat in
numerous locations, and have never experienced anything like this.
Maybe I just need to remove my scarlet colored glasses...
