[Husker] All's too quiet on the Western Front

Yep, for a brief moment I thought I was seeing Dan Alexander against Tennessee in a bowl game...................................

Can we please perhaps nail the door shut on a conference opponent. The defense was a lot of bend but dont break. Where are allstar defensive ends are, I don't know. The play calling in the third quarter looked like reruns from Los Angeles......................

I will hear it all week about how ISU got screwed by the refs. They did. Too bad. What goes around comes around and that is the way things go sometimes.

I think Mike has the List on delay or moderated mode during the games. It
makes sense -- I look back through old emails when delivery was
near-real-time, and there were a lot of people making inane comments during
the game, even more so if things weren't going our way.

My biggest complaint with tonight's announcers is the overemphasis on the
calls that didn't go ISU's way. Sorry, guys, but that's football. Even
with instant replay, not all calls are going to be adjudicated perfectly.

I gotta say it did my soul good to see that last drive all on the ground.
That was exactly what NU needed to do at that point ... run clock, assert
dominance, and keep pounding ISU's defense. I wanted to see us run the
option on the second TD down near the goal line, too, but I know that's a
big stretch ... 8^)
