Show me where anybody said, or implied, that they didn't want crowd noise.
Moore said the crowd was loud so they had a hard time communicating.
I'm reading between the lines, but it seems like we maybe weren't
running our "usual" defensive schemes (we were playing specifically to
take away a few of KU's favorite plays that got etched into
everybody's memory in last year's game!) and so perhaps the players
were making unusual calls or having to play unfamiliar assignments,
making communications and calls more important than usual.
I think the players are thinking they need to improve their
communication to overcome crowd noise, not that crowd noise needs to
be reduced so the players can communicate.
If somebody said something to the contrary, please link it .. I
haven't seen it yet.
