[Husker] Crowd Noise/ABC

It helps to read the entire article before going ballistic.

As far as the noise, Cosgrove said: "I want it."

"I don't want to quiet that crowd, believe me. We love our home-field
advantage."

Several players, including Carriker said the same thing, and took the blame,
too. Carriker said it's the players' job to give calls loud enough that
teammates hear them.

"A lot of it was our own undoing," Carriker said. "We want the crowd loud.
It's a problem, but if it's a problem for us it's even more of a problem for
the offense."

Almost exactly what some of us said, and it was in the original article.
Players screw up, coaches screw up, refs screw up, and so do fans. Lets move
on to Iowa State ... And my complaint.

When you live away from Nebraska, especially on the west coast (not to be
confused with the west coast offense, rather offenses done to the west
coast) you dread seeing that ABC is covering a game. Even after my sweet
wife bought me a game plan package, I can't get the Nebraska-Iowa State
game. Can't even pay extra for it. We get Oregon-Cal, instead. The package
does give me the Callahan Show the following Tuesday, so I can see
highlights. Not the game, though.

Just in case I failed to elicit your sympathy there is a reason why you
should be pissed, too. Recruiting. Many of those numerous California kids we
are going after, (competing with Cal and Oregon, mind you) will be watching
Cal and Oregon, not Nebraska and Iowa State. Thanks to ABC.
