[Husker] 1997 OT inquiry

Your comment about Mustyberger is well taken. I am about as big a College
Football nut as anyone else and have been known to have three TVS going at
once: good thing my wife's a good sport about it because she hates Football.
The thing I am getting at here is it does not matter if you are watching
College or Pro anything anymore all you get to see is Talking Heads and some
starry eyed movie star or other non-person jacking their jaws and trying to
impress people with their knowledge of something which I really do not give
a dang about: I want to see the game.
Now it has worsened because of the new clock rules and the sponsors just
have to have their commercials shown. I wonder if anyone has timed how many
minutes we really miss of play time because of this Talking Heads and
Commercials. A very good example of this was the Packers/Eagles game Monday
night. In the back ground you could see play after play but the Talking
Heads were blabbing away and I think they blabbed about a quarter of the
game away.
I will say one good thing about the Fox announcers at the Kansas game. They
said they thought they were the luckiest announcers on TV that day because
of the way the game was played and ended.
I have got to the point if I can find any game on the radio (even Aunt
Blabby and the Huskers) I find I can sit on my deck drinking "a spot of
tea," watch the Robins pecking the Squirrels under their tails for getting
into their nests and still enjoy the game.

I went back and watched my copy of the game on my DVR and it comes back
right after commercial and doesn't show the coin toss.
Mustyberger never says anything about the toss either. (typical!) It did
come back before Frost's TD though. It was Ahman's run for a first down.
It
was our first play from scrimmage in OT.
