Hello Husker Fans,

Great game to be at, probably the loudest I've heard the crowd since
the Eric Crouch throw back catch against OU. I want to say that I
believe 100% that if they had gotten that lateral call right and let
McKeon run for the TD, we'd have blown them out. Instead of 24-10
at half it would have been 31-7 and that would have really defeated
  them.

  Positive:

  1) I didn't realize Hardy was that fast. On his first touchdown he
looked like he would be knocked out of bounds easily, but he just
turned on the jets and put 10 yards on that guy before he could say,
  "Wait for me!"

  2) Shanle had 2 nice interceptions and came close to 2 more.

  3) Great to have Cody Glenn back! Take away his fumble and he
  looked VERY good every run.

  4) Zac Taylor - 4 TDs 0 Ints. 395 yards. 26 yards / completion and
over 12 yards per attempt. Sounds like his best game ever? Not
  even close :)

  5) Andre Jones didn't look amazing but he was probably the most
improved player IMHO. He really made some big plays when we really
  needed them.

  Negative:

  1) Line play. Our O-Line was decent but not great and our D-Line
got 100% outplayed. There was almost ZERO pressure on the QB all
game and some big holes to run through.

  2) Defense looked good in spots, but if it weren't for their
turnovers I'd give them an F today. There receivers were running
loose all day and as I said before the pressure was non-existant.
I'd give them a final grade of C.

  3) Purify is coming along nicely. His big body makes him a great
  target, especially on 3rd downs

  4) 3 Fumbles made it too close of a game. Period. Take care of the
  ball.

  5) Zac Taylor - He was definitely not sharp. A lot of his passes
were to fairly open receivers and he just plain missed them. He
also seemed too obsessed with the long ball. There was 3 times on
one drive where he passed up a WIDE open Herian in the middle of the
field for a receiver down field who was not even open.

OVERALL: If the Huskers win 39-32 their record is 4-1. If they
would have won 56-0 their record would have been 4-1. A win is a
win and moral victories are for losers, glad we didn't have a moral
  victory today!
