[Husker] Solich Named MAC COY

First, for the cynics, as a Husker Fan... I like FS and dislike SP; and
tolerate BC... and doubt whether TO will ever be matched!  Okay... so what
has FS done at Ohio.

His Offense ranks 104th in Total Offensive Yards; 10th in MAC.
	Rushing 36th, 3rd in MAC
	Passing 114th, 12th of 12 in MAC

Those numbers sound familiar?  Not so much of a change from his HC days in
Lincoln.   Can you say "Greenshirts?"

Total Defense is ranked 22nd, 2nd in MAC
	Pass Efficiency Def is ranked 4th, 1st in MAC

Special Teams, you ask:
	Punt Returns 10th, 1st in MAC
	KO Returns 34th, 2nd in MAC


Hmmm... Good defense, decent special teams, a strong running game and a
passing game with a QB that couldn't hit water if he fell out of the boat.
(Everson ranked 95th.)  Not sure that this schema is much different than
days in Lincoln.

How's that for those feeling nostalgic?

Second, congrats to Coach Solich for being the MAC Coach of the Year.
Turning around any school in the short amount of time and dramatic way
Coach Solich has, be it in the MAC or not, is certainly an impressive
accomplishment. 

I am further impressed by the fact that rather than sulk like those on the
list still love to do about his dismissal at Nebraska, that Coach Solich
made the effort to improve as a coach by learning new offensive and
defensive schemes from some of the best in the business. 

I truly and sincerely am happy for him and his accomplishment and wish him
the best of luck in the MAC Championship Game.
