Frannie is still just one or two losses away from getting canned, IMHO.
(BTW, Bama canned their coach today, as expected.)

It seems to me that over the years Nebraska's coach has been less likely 
to get coach-of-the-year honors because the Huskers were expected to 
dominate and, for the most part, did.  (Osborne NEVER got national coach 
of the year!)

I think it's a bit early for BC to get it, especially since they lost 2 of
3 'big games' so far plus they had one suprise loss and only one surprise 
win, so I predict Stoops will get it this year, despite losing to Texas, 
for going 10-2 after losing two top players.

Prince went 4-4 in the conference, which admittedly is an improvement for
KSU but the B12 North stunk again this year, Nebraska was just the least 
ugly of the bunch this time around.

Do they wait until after the conference championship to vote?

If so, then perhaps the winner of that game gets coach-of-the-year.
