If you believe what most experts say --- what the AP reports
ISU AD Jamie Pollard saying: "We were told we wouldn't be able
to get him by a lot of people." --- that Chizik would wait for
and get an offer from a bigger name program, then that is a
coup for ISU.

It seemed strange to me that Kelly would participate in an
announcement in the week before their championship game.
The timing of the announcement certainly makes more sense for
an assistant at Texas (which doesn't play for a month) than
for the HC at Central Michigan (which has a game this weekend).
Thanks also for the correction of my mistake of the location
for the MAC Championship game.
