I think to a point what is said here has an element of truth. I don't
know we have to "rely" on trick plays to beat a subpar opponent. That has
been my point. I don't believe we HAD to use a trick play to beat Colorado.
That was my point all along. If we did then our offense is very weak. NU
has not yet proven they are any more than an average team. However, I
believe when the above was posted it was posted as sarcasm. Maybe not, but
it appears that way.

I am certainly glad we have trick plays in the aresenal. They are fun to
watch and sometimes they are necessary. I would rather be in a position to
not have to use them. By the way I have no problem with trick plays. I
only questioned whether in the first half against a substantially weaker
opponent was the time to reveal some of what we have? Once it is revealed
then other teams can prepare for it. If you have no choice then you do what
you have to do. I just don't see that we were in that position.

I think I would agree that the Big 10 is overrated overall. But, with
that in mind I really don't think the Big 12 is your all time powerhouse
either. It should be a real interesting bowl season. I like the
opportunities NU has ahead of them. It is pretty much theirs to gain or
lose.
