I disagree completely - I loved all the trick plays - at this point of the
year and time during the game. Shows upcoming teams we will do it anytime,
anyplace anyhow!! . Also - do you think Oklahoma or Texas will have to spend
anytime practicing for them - even a half hour in a short week is good. Also
- the players love them - you can tell the way they talk about them. They
had a long time to get ready for this game, and I'm sure practicing these
things breaks the monotany of a week- I think it shows confidence - not a lack
there of. But then - I'm a glass half full not half empty guy when it comes to
the Huskers!!!!!! Then to see them work - they were what turned the tide!!!

That is true. It was 4:14 left in the first half and we hadn't scored
since 5:08 in the fourth quarter so you are accurate with the timing. At
the time the score was 7-7. However, I don't believe the first half is the
time to pull out a trick play. Especially with the whole second half in
front of you and you are playing a team you should beat. If it was tied
with 4:14 left in the game then sure, go for it. I wasn't the only one that
noticed it. The guy I was watching the game with said that as soon as they
lined up. The other thing it doesn't show is much faith in your offense
with that much game left. I like Callahan. I don't see how he could have
done much more than he has the last three years. I just didn't care for
that particular call.

I never learned anything when I was the one doing the talking.
