[Husker] Bowls

This brings me to a question I posed on another site. If KU beats Mizzu and OSU beats OU, then OSU, KU, KSU, MU and Texas Tech all would have 7-5 records. Would all 9 Big XII teams get into a bowl then? If not who would get left out? Would MU fans travel after what could be considered a disappointing season ( not winning the North, losing to ISU and KU to end the season)? What about Techs fans. Their offense is not the high powered, exciting, 70 points a game it has been the last few years but they are putting up some good numbers but is it enough for them to travel well? KUs victory over MU would make them second in the North, (I know, I know, the weakest division in college football) shouldn't that get them picked? OSU would have wins over NU and OU and that should be enough to get them picked. KSU hasn't been to a bowl in what 3 years and are doing it with a first year coach that has been pretty popular so they should travel ok.
Do they look at head to head at all? If so then...KU has victories over KSU and MU but a loss to OSU. KSU would have loses to KU and MU but a win over OSU. They also have the win over Texas. Both have lost to Baylor. MU would have wins over KSU and TT but a loss to KU. Tech would have a loss to MU and a win over OSU. OSU would have a win over KU but loses to KSU and TT, they would have the wins over NU and OU.
So do they all get in or who stays home?

It states:
Again this season, the Big 12 has eight bowl slots guaranteed. The
Conference is partnered with nine bowls. However the arrangement with the
Gator Bowl is for it to select a Big 12 team twice over a four-year period.
In the two years in which the Gator does not select a Big 12 team, the Sun
Bowl will. Following is the selection order:
BCS
Cotton
Holiday
Gator (when it selects a Big 12 team)
Alamo
Sun (when the Gator does not take a Big 12 team)
Insight
Independence
Texas
The Big 12 has 9 teams that qualify for a bowl this year, and a bowl cannot
select a team with 6 wins over a team with 7.

That scenario leaves out the Holiday Bowl, which I believe must take a
Big 12 team. I think the Gator has an alternative to the Big 12, but I
don't think the Holiday Bowl does. I think the Cotton goes first and
might pick OU or NU (if NU loses), then the Holiday Bowl would pick
next. However, there is some horse trading and I've heard that OU
might go to the Gator as you suggest. There was speculation that the
Cotton might take NU, then the Holiday might skip OU (which was there
last year) and take A&M, which would put the teams the way that you
suggest.
