No, that is not correct. 

There are two bowl games at Phoenix stadium, one is the original "Fiesta
Bowl" on January 1 and the second is the "BCS Championship Game" on
January 8.  This format had to be done in order to accommodate the
additional teams that qualify for BCS bowl spots while at the same time
continuing contractual obligations with the four "major" bowls.

The Fiesta Bowl is hosting the national championship on 1/8/07.  So no
Big XII team will be going to the Fiesta Bowl this season.

The other spot in the Fiesta Bowl is an at-large selection, which means
at this point it could be just about anybody.  The name I hear most
often at this point would be Boise State if they remain undefeated.

There are several other intriguing matchups that could occur as well,
looking at the BCS standings:
LSU (featuring the #1 defense in the land, the BeauxShirts led by Bo
Pelini) Arkansas (coached by Houston Nutt.  Would this game be
cosponsored by NetJets?) Wisconsin (Kevin Cosgrove faces his old players
and his sucessor, who was promptly promoted to head coach)
