I understand your comments but this whole state I think is in mourning for
Bo, he was a REAL presence around here. I met him several times at political
events and he was a real gentleman! Even after the heart surgeries he kept
an office just to counsel the kids who needed advice. A really great man. 

I am not making excuses to the kids but I can understand what they are going
through. I mean had he died weeks before the game that is one thing, but
dying in the middle of the taping of the show to get the team faithful
excited? Wow!!!

But to be fair to Ohio State - what will be proved in a rematch - if Ohio
State wins then everyone will be wondering if they could beat
USC/Florida/Insert you team here. If they don't beat Michigan - Michigan is
the national champ but Ohio State has a victory against them as well?

I guess my opinion is - that game was scheduled and circled all season long
as a big game to both. If they did not put forth their best effort - no
second chances. If they put forth their best effort and lost - still no
second chances. MU at the end of the year can always say they were the
second best team in the nation.
