  >>I agree it would be a disaster - but college football is much about emotion and Colorado would make the year with a win. Those players that happened to like Barnett have something to play for too. Last years beating probably sent him out the door.

I agree emotion is important but you can't win on emotion only. You still have to have talent. We all can point to upsets over the years where the team that won had no business even being on the same field with the other team much less winning. Typically what happens in those situations is the lesser team plays as well as it can possibly play, gets some breaks, and the better team doesn't play well.

  >>Also - that ranking service has Rutgers and Louisville 4 and 5 and BYU and Hawaii 18 and 19. I'm not convinced Clemson (24) Nebraska (26) Tennesse(28) Texas A&M (30) could not beat any of those teams. I am predicting a Husker Blowout - 40-10, but it would not surprise me to see it close.

When I reference these ratings I don't reference them because I believe they are 100% correct. I reference them just for a rough comparison between teams. That, and it ranks all 119 teams. There are others that do that but I just happened to find this one. I am not an advocate of any poll. I believe it is impossible to say these 25 teams are the top 25 in the country and rate them from 1-25. I think you can say certain teams are better than others and maybe one can even say who the top team is. But, how does anyone know the 5th team is better than the 6th team?

This rating also rates Ohio ahead of Miami (Fla), Florida State, Texas Tech, and Kansas State for instance. If Ohio were to play any of those four, and assuming everyone played their best, I doubt Ohio would beat any of them.

  >>What is the weather looking like?

According to The Weather Channel the weather on the 24th is predicted to be partly cloudy, a high of 53, and a 10% chance of precipitation.
