My thoughts exactly. There are, unfortunately, many CU fans who take 
this crap to heart (and many more who don't, I might add). It can result 
in classy displays such as we saw in 2003, when the CU band pretended to 
urinate on the NU bench before the game and their big screen played a 
video mocking Nebraska.

It also leads to what I call the "Fresno State syndrome". Recall the 
whining coming out of Boulder in 2001 when the Buffies didn't make it to 
the BCS championship game, despite pounding NU and winning the Big XII. 
They all overlooked (and hoped others would as well) their loss to 
Fresno State early in the season. National champions do not lose to 
Fresno State, but when you focus too hard on one game, it's easy to 
stumble in some of the others - something CU has done often. TO always 
said every game was important to Nebraska, and he was right. When you 
get on top, you can't afford to lose to anyone.
